16 REASONS WHY A TRUE BELIEVER CAN NEVER FALL FROM GRACE

1. JESUS PRAYED THAT GOD WOULD KEEP HIS OWN
John 17:9-11       (9) I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.(10) And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.(11) And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Jesus never prayed a prayer that God did not answer.

John 11:42 (42) And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

2. JESUS GAVE US THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE AT SALVATION
John 10:28 (27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: (28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish...

John 5:24 (24) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

3. WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE, NOT BY WORKS
If we did nothing in order to receive salvation - it was all of God, then there is nothing we can do to keep it.

Ephesians 2: 8 (8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Romans 11:6  (6) And if by grace, then is it no more of works:

4. SALVATION IS A GIFT THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED
Romans 6:23  (23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8,9 (8) ...It is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 11:29  (29) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

5. IF GOD DOES THE SAVING, THEN HE MUST ALSO DO THE KEEPING.
Philippians 1:6  (6) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

II Timothy 1:12  (12) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

I Peter 1:5  (5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

6. SALVATION IS A BIRTH, AND YOU CANNOT BE "UNBORN."
(23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 97:10  (10) Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his Saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

8. WE ARE SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT AT THE MOMENT OF REGENERATION.
Ephesians 1:13    (13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

9. JESUS SAID IF ANY MAN EAT OF THIS BREAD, HE SHALL
LIVE FOREVER
John 6:51   (51) I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

10. GOD PROMISES HE WILL NEVER CAST US OUT
John 6:37   (37) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Hebrews 13:5   (5) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Matthew 28:20   (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

11. GOD LOSES NONE THAT COME TO HIM
John 6:39  (39) And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

John 10:27,28   (27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: (28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish...

12. DOUBLE NEGATIVES IN SCRIPTURE INDICATE TOTAL, ABSOLUTE IMPOSSIBILITY.
John 3:15,16   (15) That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 6:35   (35) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

13. THE BELIEVER IS JOINED TO CHRIST IN A VITAL, ORGANIC,
ETERNAL UNION
1 Corinthians 12:13   (13) For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:17   (17) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Ephesians 5:30   (30) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

14. THE CHRISTIAN'S INHERITANCE IS RESERVED FOREVER IN HEAVEN
1 Peter 1:4  (4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

15. THE CHRISTIAN IS KEPT BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
2 Timothy 1:14    (14) That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

16. FINALLY, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CAN EVER SEPARATE A CHRISTIAN FROM THE LOVE OF GOD
Romans 8:35-39    (35) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (36) As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. (37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 10:28  (28) ...neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
